  • Filtered Water
Perfect for sourdough lovers looking to start a new culture, maintain an active starter, or enhance the flavor of their bread with a traditional, robust sourdough profile.

To rehydrate, simply mix the dehydrated starter with warm, filtered water and a small amount of flour. Let it sit at room temperature for 4-6 hours until bubbly and active, then feed it regularly to keep it strong and ready for baking.

For optimal results, use our Turkey Red heritage flour when feeding your starter. Consistent care will keep your culture vibrant, producing flavorful loaves with less gluten and more nutrients.

To maintain your starter, feed it regularly and store it in the fridge for less frequent feedings. When you’re ready to bake, just pull it out, feed it, and let it come to room temperature.
