Lamb Rib Chops are essentially the Ribeye Steak of lamb, delivering an unbeatable depth of flavor with every bite. Cut from the rib section, these chops are naturally tender and well-marbled, making them one of the most sought-after cuts. The bone enhances the richness, creating a juicy and succulent eating experience that’s hard to beat.

Praised for their buttery texture and bold, yet refined taste, rib chops are a favorite among chefs and home cooks alike. Their tenderness comes from the naturally delicate muscle structure, making them perfect for quick, high-heat cooking methods. Whether seasoned simply with salt and pepper or elevated with garlic, rosemary, and butter, these chops add tender and delicious protein, B vitamins, healthy fats, zinc and a number of other health benefits to your meals!

By choosing our 100% grass-fed, needle-free (no vaccines, antibiotics, hormones, or dewormers) lamb rib chops, you’re not only getting an incredibly flavorful cut but also supporting an ethical and sustainable food system. Our lambs are rotationally grazed on diverse pastures, ensuring meat rich in anti-inflammatory nutrients for optimal health.

Lamb rib chops are incredibly versatile and can be cooked in a variety of ways, all of which enhance their natural tenderness and rich flavor. Here are some of the best ways to prepare them:

1. Grilling: impart a smoky flavor while keeping the meat tender and juicy. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Season the chops with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper, and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting the time based on your preferred doneness.

2. Pan-Seared: for a crispy, golden crust, pan-sear the lamb rib chops in a hot skillet with tallow or ghee Sear for about 2-3 minutes per side, then finish by transferring the chops to a preheated oven at 375°F for 5-7 minutes, depending on the thickness of the chops and your desired level of doneness.

3. Broiling: another excellent option since it mimics the high heat of grilling. Place the seasoned chops under the broiler for 4-5 minutes per side, ensuring you flip halfway through for even cooking.

4. Roasting: for a slower-cooked, tender result, roast the lamb rib chops in the oven. Preheat the oven to 375°F, season the chops, and roast for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.

Recipe Ideas:
- Garlic & Herb-Crusted Lamb Rib Chops: Coat the chops with a mixture of crushed garlic, fresh rosemary, thyme, a drizzle of lightly warmed butter, salt, and pepper. Grill or pan-sear to your preferred level of doneness. Serve with roasted vegetables or a side of mashed potatoes.
- Lamb Rib Chops with Mint Yogurt Sauce: Grilled lamb rib chops paired with a refreshing mint yogurt sauce. To make the sauce, mix Greek yogurt with fresh mint, lemon juice, garlic, and a pinch of salt. Perfect for a light, flavorful dish.
- Lamb Chops with Pomegranate Glaze: Sear lamb rib chops and finish them with a sweet and tangy pomegranate glaze. To make the glaze, reduce pomegranate juice with honey, balsamic vinegar, and a bit of garlic. Drizzle over the cooked chops and garnish with fresh herbs.
- Lamb Chops with Couscous Salad: Serve the grilled lamb rib chops over a bed of couscous tossed with fresh herbs, roasted vegetables, and a lemon vinaigrette. This makes for a light yet filling meal, perfect for a family dinner or special occasion.

Lamb Rib Chops Reviews

Delicious taste

Today I tried thte primal lamb blend and wow It's sooo delicious and lean. I didn't really feel any fat. I love it because some lamb I bought from different farmers was too fat and I could feel it. Just a perfect balance.

Wow

The lamb arrived!! And I cooked up the primal blend real quick. OMG my first thought was this tastes like the lamb in Mongolia. I went with a group and we stayed with a family on their farm in yurts and they cooked fresh lamb for us. This reminds me I should look up some Mongolian recipes for coking. Anyway. It was amazing. It didn't taste like the typical primal blend that often tastes bitter and gamey!

100% Grass-Fed

Our commitment to 100% grass-fed lamb means no grains, no feedlots—ever. Our lamb graze freely on nutrient-rich pastures, eating the diet nature intended, which supports their metabolic health and aligns with their natural physiology. In contrast, grain-fed lamb are confined to feedlots with limited movement, rapidly fattened on high-energy grain diets that produce excessively fatty meat—far removed from the cuts of meat historically consumed from wild ruminants.

Research shows that grain-fed livestock develop elevated glucose metabolites, triglycerides, and oxidative stress markers, while pasture-finished animals maintain superior metabolic function.

By choosing our 100% grass-fed lamb, you’re enjoying a cleaner, more nutrient-dense product that mirrors the meat our ancestors thrived on—free from the endocrine-disrupting pesticides and phytoestrogens often found in conventional grain-fed lamb.

Regeneratively Raised

Not all grass-fed lamb is the same—there is a difference between lamb continuously grazing on a single plot of grass and those raised through rotational grazing. Rotational grazing is a management practice where lamb are strategically moved from one patch of grass to the next, mimicking the natural movement of wild herbivores. This practice allows pastures to recover, promotes soil health, increases biodiversity, and enhances the nutritional quality of the meat.

Rotationally grazed lamb consume a wider variety of nutrient-rich grasses, resulting in meat with higher concentrations of vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals—bioactive compounds known for their anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic properties. The phytonutrient content of lamb is shaped by grazing practices, with those on diverse pastures accumulating more beneficial compounds that enhance the meat’s nutritional value.

This highlights the importance of not just grass-feeding, but also livestock management. While rotational grazing requires more effort, its benefits—healthier meat, improved soil, and a more sustainable ecosystem—make it a worthwhile investment for both the environment and human health.

Free of Pharmaceuticals and Toxic Agrochemicals

Healthy animals don’t need pharmaceutical interventions. Our lamb are raised in optimal conditions—grazing on fresh pasture, breathing clean air, and regularly moved to new grass, ensuring they aren’t living in their own waste or exposed to toxins. This natural lifestyle eliminates the need for routine antibiotics, vaccines (including mRNA vaccines), hormones, and dewormers. In contrast, conventional feedlot lamb are confined to crowded, unsanitary conditions, requiring constant pharmaceutical support to stay healthy.

By prioritizing regenerative farming practices, our farmers raise resilient lamb that rarely get sick. Our animals experience minimal parasite exposure, no stress from confinement, and receive optimal nutrition from diverse pastures that supports their immune function and metabolic health. Our needle-free lamb offers pure, wholesome meat—just as nature intended—without the pharmaceutical crutches required by industrial agriculture.
