Our 100% grass-fed Leg of Lamb Steaks (also known as leg chops) offer the perfect balance of tenderness, flavor, and convenience, and is a true nutritional powerhouse, offering lean, complete protein along with a wealth of essential B vitamins, zinc, selenium, and other minerals.

Cut across the leg, these steaks feature a small round bone just off-center, which imparts extra flavor and richness to the meat. With their mild, savory taste and tender texture when cooked properly, they provide all the benefits of lamb with the ease of individual, easy-to-cook portions.

These leg steaks are an ideal choice for anyone seeking a more manageable alternative to a full leg of lamb. The smaller size makes them perfect for grilling, pan-searing, or broiling, delivering delicious, juicy results in a fraction of the time. Whether you’re making a quick weeknight dinner or preparing for a family meal, leg of lamb steaks offer a gourmet experience with minimal preparation and cleanup.

As with all our lamb, these steaks come from rotationally grazed pastures, ensuring rich, nutrient-dense meat free from vaccines, hormones, antibiotics, or unnecessary chemicals. Not only are you enjoying a truly delicious cut of lamb, but you’re also supporting a sustainable, ethical food system.

Lamb has been a staple in human diets for over 10,000 years, cherished in ancient food cultures long before beef became the go-to protein. While beef may dominate modern kitchens today, lamb’s rich history and exceptional nutritional benefits remain unparalleled.
  • LowPs™ 100% Grass-Fed Lamb
Lamb leg steaks (leg chops) are incredibly versatile, offering two distinct preparation methods depending on your preference—quick searing for a crisp, juicy bite or slow braising for deep, tender flavor.

- Quick Searing: Naturally tender with a mild, rich flavor, lamb leg steaks can be pan-seared or grilled over medium-high heat for just a few minutes per side. This method locks in the juices while creating a flavorful crust. For the best texture, cook to medium-rare or medium (130-140°F) and let the steaks rest before serving.
- Braising: If you prefer a melt-in-your-mouth texture, lamb leg steaks excel in slow-cooking. Braising in broth, wine, or tomatoes over low heat for 1.5 to 2 hours helps break down connective tissue, enhancing tenderness while infusing the meat with rich flavors.

Recipe Ideas:
- Garlic & Rosemary Grilled Lamb Steaks – Marinate in olive oil, garlic, rosemary, and lemon juice, then grill for a quick, flavorful meal.
- Red Wine-Braised Lamb Steaks – Slow-cook with red wine, onions, and tomatoes for a tender, rich dish perfect over mashed potatoes.
- Mediterranean Lamb Steaks – Pan-sear with oregano, thyme, and cumin, then serve with a fresh Greek salad and tzatziki.

Whether grilled for a quick dinner or braised for a comforting meal, lamb leg steaks are a convenient, flavorful alternative to a full leg of lamb while still delivering the deep, satisfying taste that makes lamb so special.

Leg of Lamb Steaks Reviews

Delicious taste

Today I tried thte primal lamb blend and wow It's sooo delicious and lean. I didn't really feel any fat. I love it because some lamb I bought from different farmers was too fat and I could feel it. Just a perfect balance.

Wow

The lamb arrived!! And I cooked up the primal blend real quick. OMG my first thought was this tastes like the lamb in Mongolia. I went with a group and we stayed with a family on their farm in yurts and they cooked fresh lamb for us. This reminds me I should look up some Mongolian recipes for coking. Anyway. It was amazing. It didn't taste like the typical primal blend that often tastes bitter and gamey!

100% Grass-Fed

Our commitment to 100% grass-fed lamb means no grains, no feedlots—ever. Our lamb graze freely on nutrient-rich pastures, eating the diet nature intended, which supports their metabolic health and aligns with their natural physiology. In contrast, grain-fed lamb are confined to feedlots with limited movement, rapidly fattened on high-energy grain diets that produce excessively fatty meat—far removed from the cuts of meat historically consumed from wild ruminants.

Research shows that grain-fed livestock develop elevated glucose metabolites, triglycerides, and oxidative stress markers, while pasture-finished animals maintain superior metabolic function.

By choosing our 100% grass-fed lamb, you’re enjoying a cleaner, more nutrient-dense product that mirrors the meat our ancestors thrived on—free from the endocrine-disrupting pesticides and phytoestrogens often found in conventional grain-fed lamb.

Regeneratively Raised

Not all grass-fed lamb is the same—there is a difference between lamb continuously grazing on a single plot of grass and those raised through rotational grazing. Rotational grazing is a management practice where lamb are strategically moved from one patch of grass to the next, mimicking the natural movement of wild herbivores. This practice allows pastures to recover, promotes soil health, increases biodiversity, and enhances the nutritional quality of the meat.

Rotationally grazed lamb consume a wider variety of nutrient-rich grasses, resulting in meat with higher concentrations of vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals—bioactive compounds known for their anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic properties. The phytonutrient content of lamb is shaped by grazing practices, with those on diverse pastures accumulating more beneficial compounds that enhance the meat’s nutritional value.

This highlights the importance of not just grass-feeding, but also livestock management. While rotational grazing requires more effort, its benefits—healthier meat, improved soil, and a more sustainable ecosystem—make it a worthwhile investment for both the environment and human health.

Free of Pharmaceuticals and Toxic Agrochemicals

Healthy animals don’t need pharmaceutical interventions. Our lamb are raised in optimal conditions—grazing on fresh pasture, breathing clean air, and regularly moved to new grass, ensuring they aren’t living in their own waste or exposed to toxins. This natural lifestyle eliminates the need for routine antibiotics, vaccines (including mRNA vaccines), hormones, and dewormers. In contrast, conventional feedlot lamb are confined to crowded, unsanitary conditions, requiring constant pharmaceutical support to stay healthy.

By prioritizing regenerative farming practices, our farmers raise resilient lamb that rarely get sick. Our animals experience minimal parasite exposure, no stress from confinement, and receive optimal nutrition from diverse pastures that supports their immune function and metabolic health. Our needle-free lamb offers pure, wholesome meat—just as nature intended—without the pharmaceutical crutches required by industrial agriculture.
