Experience the true taste of wholesome, mobile pasture-raised chicken, packed with flavor and nutrients from birds raised the way nature intended. Mobile pasture-raised systems allow chickens the freedom to roam, forage, and enjoy sunshine in low-stress, healthy environments. With more movement and access to a nutrient-dense diet, these chickens are healthier and produce a cleaner, richer final product packed with essential vitamins and minerals. By choosing pasture-raised, you’re not just getting a higher-quality chicken—you’re enjoying a more flavorful, tender, and juicy meat.

However, even pasture-raised chickens require a supplemental feed and this is what sets our chicken apart. Instead of the typical PUFA rich corn, soy and distiller grain feed rations (or other high PUFA ingredients commonly found in 'corn and soy free' feed rations), we made our own one-of-a-kind, custom-made feed: low-PUFA, corn- and soy-free, and grown by our regenerative row crop farmers. Not only is it low in PUFAs, but it is also low in phytoestrogens and pesticides (LowPs™)—reducing your exposure to endocrine disrupting compounds, and ensuring that you get the cleanest, healthiest chicken possible.

Raised in harmony with nature, our chickens are needle-free, meaning no pharmaceutical interventions are used or needed (no vaccines, antibiotics, dewormers, or hormones). The result? A superior-tasting, clean protein source you can trust.
  • LowPs™ Chicken
Mobile pasture-raised chickens roam freely outdoors, leading to more movement, nutrients, and collagen development. This results in richer flavor and more collagen, so it’s best to cook them low and slow to break down the connective tissue, making the meat tender and the broth full of nourishing collagen. Roasting, braising, smoking or other slow-cooking methods are ideal methods to unlock their full potential.

- Roasting: For a simple yet delicious meal, roast the chicken at a lower temperature (around 325°F) for a longer period. This allows the collagen to break down without drying out the meat. Roasting the chicken for 90 minutes to two hours ensures crispy skin, tender meat, and rich juices. A good way to check for doneness is to use a meat thermometer—aim for an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the thigh. Let the chicken rest for 10-15 minutes before carving to keep it juicy and tender.

- Braising or Stewing: Braise the chicken in a pot using water or stock along with your favorite vegetables, herbs, and spices for a comforting, nourishing meal. The slow cooking will allow the meat to absorb the flavors while breaking down the collagen, making the broth rich and silky.

- Smoking: Smoke at 225-250°F for low and slow cooking, which adds a rich, smoky flavor while allowing time for the collagen and connective tissues to break down slowly, making the meat tender and juicy.

If you prefer a quicker, less intimidating cooking experience, you can break the bird down into individual parts yourself. This allows for more even cooking and can help reduce the overall cooking time.

PRO TIP: After roasting or braising and consuming the meat for your meal, use the bones to make a nutrient-dense broth that’s packed with collagen.

So impressed

My mom is sort of a chef and a meat snob. Especially when it comes to chicken. My randfather used to be in the chicken business which is where she learned about good meat. I was honestly a little nervous to give your chicken to her because I was already in love without even trying it. She had told me multiple times already that Nourish chicken is the best chicken she has ever had and cooked with since she can remember! She can't believe it and even said it's the first time she has seen "normal size" chicken in years! Thank you again for becoming the best farmers on the planet and opening Nourish! 💕

Low in PUFAs, Custom-Feed

Our chicken contains 202% more of the health promoting Stearic Acid, and 54% less of the health-degrading Linoleic Acid (an Omega 6 PUFA).

Modern chickens contain significantly higher levels of PUFAs than they did in the past, with some sources even claiming that chicken is now the highest dietary source of linoleic acid (an omega-6 PUFA found in vegetable oils). This shift is primarily due to changes in the chicken’s diet, driven by the mass production of corn, soy, and other PUFA-rich ingredients used in conventional feed. And while pasture-raised chickens may have access to forage, they still require supplemental feed, which is often rich in PUFAs. Therefore, even pasture-raised chicken can still have high levels of omega-6 fatty acids, because what chickens eat directly impacts the types of fat and quality of meat you consume.

That's why at Nourish we’ve developed a custom-made low-PUFA, nutrient-dense feed for our birds, ensuring their meat contains lower levels of inflammatory PUFAs and higher levels of metabolism-supporting fats. Our commitment to better feed results in better health for both our chickens and our customers—lab-tested for peace of mind. Simply put, better food for our animals means better food for you.

Mobile Pasture-Raised for Optimal Nutrition

Chickens raised on pasture enjoy a diverse, nutrient-rich diet, which includes not only supplemental feed but also fresh grasses, plants, and insects. This variety enhances their nutrient intake, which is then passed on to you through the meat you consume. Pasture-raised animal products are richer in fat-soluble vitamins. For example, Vitamin D levels in animal fat are influenced by sunlight, which enables animals to synthesize vitamin D in their skin and store it in their fat. Additionally, Vitamin K2 levels in animal fat are impacted by their diet, with grass-grazing animals having higher levels of this essential nutrient.

In contrast, animals confined to buildings or cages are limited to their supplemental feed, leading to a less varied nutrient profile and, ultimately, a less nutrient-dense product.

At Nourish, we take it a step further with mobile pasture-raised practices, where our chickens are moved to a fresh patch of grass daily. This ensures they have continuous access to fresh grasses and insects, providing them with a more varied and nutrient-dense diet. Unlike the generic “pasture-raised” label—which often lacks regulation—our mobile system prevents land degradation, preserves vegetation, and avoids the soil issues caused by prolonged animal presence. Regularly rotating the chickens allows the land to recover, supporting chicken health, environmental sustainability, and, ultimately, your health.

Healthier Chickens, Free of Pharmaceuticals

Healthy animals don’t need pharmaceutical crutches. Our chickens are raised in optimal conditions—mobile pasture-raised with daily access to fresh grass, clean air, and space to express their natural instincts. Unlike confined birds that require constant antibiotic interventions due to poor living conditions, our chickens aren’t trapped in their own waste or exposed to airborne toxins. Instead, they breathe fresh air, forage freely, and benefit from nutrient-rich grasses that support their gut and immune health. While chickens can’t survive on grass alone, regular access to fresh pasture provides key nutrients and fiber, promoting overall well-being.

This natural lifestyle eliminates the need for routine antibiotics, vaccines (including mRNA vaccines), hormones, and dewormers. Industrial chickens, crammed into barns or cages, rely on daily antibiotics in their water and an aggressive vaccine schedule just to survive. In contrast, our pasture-raised chickens exercise more, experience less stress, and develop stronger immune systems, resulting in healthier meat with superior nutrient density. By prioritizing regenerative farming, we raise resilient chickens that rarely get sick, avoiding the pharmaceutical dependence of conventional poultry production.
