1. No Chemicals, No Pesticides, No GMOs
Our produce is grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. The land is never sprayed with toxic inputs. Instead, we rely on natural, regenerative practices like composting, crop rotation, and biologically active soil to nourish plants the way nature intended.
We also avoid pesticide-treated seeds and genetically modified (GMO) crops. From the very beginning of the growing process, every input matters. Rather than forcing growth with chemicals, we work with natural seasonal rhythms: planting, growing, and harvesting in alignment with the seasons and environment.
By using regenerative and permaculture principles, our farmers build resilient ecosystems where plants naturally resist pests and disease. Healthy soil, diverse plant life, and balanced ecosystems eliminate the need for chemical intervention. This approach not only keeps harmful residues out of your food, but also restores the land: supporting biodiversity, improving soil fertility, and creating a more sustainable food system.
2. Hand-Harvested on Small Farms
Our produce comes exclusively from small, family-run farms in Northern Indiana, not imported from across the world like some grocery store produce. This allows us to maintain complete transparency and ensure every farm meets our standards.
Unlike industrial agriculture, where efficiency is prioritized over quality, small-scale farming allows for attention to detail at every step. Crops are carefully tended and harvested by hand, not machines, ensuring better quality, less damage, and more thoughtful handling.
These farms are deeply connected to their land. Instead of relying on chemical shortcuts to manage large-scale production, they use hands-on, intentional methods that prioritize soil health, plant vitality, and long-term sustainability.
By supporting small farms, we’re not just providing better food, we’re helping rebuild a local food system rooted in trust, accountability, and stewardship of the land.
3. Harvested Fresh
We believe fresh food should actually be fresh. Our produce is harvested, cooled, and delivered within days.
Most grocery store produce is picked early, shipped long distances, and stored for extended periods before it ever reaches your plate. It’s often bred for durability, not flavor, and may be artificially ripened after harvest.
We do things differently. Because our produce comes from nearby farms, it’s harvested closer to peak ripeness, when flavor and nutrient content are at their highest. This is also when the crops are easier to digest.
This shorter time from harvest to table means you get produce that tastes better, retains more nutrients, and reflects how food is meant to be experienced: fresh, vibrant, and full of life.
4. Nutrient-Rich
The quality of your food starts with the soil. Our produce is grown in living, biologically active soil, not depleted ground propped up with synthetic fertilizers. This makes a profound difference in both nutrient density and overall health.
In regenerative systems, plant roots reach deep into the soil, accessing a wide range of minerals and nutrients that simply aren’t available in conventional farming. This results in produce that is richer in essential micronutrients and beneficial phytochemicals (like polyphenols), that are natural compounds linked to reduced inflammation, improved immune function, better gut health, and long-term health.
Healthy soil also creates stronger plants. When crops are grown in nutrient-dense environments, they become more resilient to pests and disease without the need for chemical intervention.
The result is food that doesn’t just look good, it actually delivers for your health. More flavor, more vitality, and more nourishment in every bite.
5. No Coatings or Sprays
We believe produce should have one ingredient: produce.
Unlike much of what’s found in grocery stores, our fruits and vegetables are never treated with synthetic coatings, preservatives, or post-harvest sprays. Many conventional, and even organic, products are exposed to additional treatments after harvest to extend shelf life or reduce microbial growth.
Some retailers use antimicrobial washes or misting systems for produce on the store shelves that contain compounds like hypochlorous acid (like Produce Maxx), while others apply coatings such as Apeel, a seed oil–based product designed to slow spoilage. These practices are rarely visible to the consumer, but they are increasingly common.
Because our produce is grown clean and delivered fresh, none of that is necessary. What you receive is exactly what was harvested: untouched, uncoated, and unaltered. Just real, clean food, the way nature intended.
