CAN FINALLY EAT EGGS AGAIN!
I was told I had a sensitivity to eggs. Rarely ate them because I always got a stomach ache after... not anymore! I eat at least 4 eggs every day and no stomach discomfort. I will pay to feed my body. Thank you Angel Acres!Sofia

What we eat, eats matters
The types of fat in an egg depends on the types of fat in the hens diet. Chickens require a supplemental feed (even on pasture) so the ingredients in that feed impacts the types of fats you consume!
We had our eggs tested and due to our custom low PUFA feed, they contain significantly lower levels of Polyunsaturated Fats (PUFAs) relative to other pasture-raised and cage-free eggs. This means our eggs have the healthiest fatty-acid profile you can find - significantly lower in unstable PUFAs that are high in seed oils (74% less Linoleic Acid!), and instead rich in healthy fats, vitamins, and fat soluble vitamins.

When chickens eat more PUFAs, more PUFAs show up in the eggs, and more PUFAs on your plate.
Since soy, soybean oil, corn byproducts like dried distiller grains and corn oil are common high PUFA feed ingredients, conventional eggs can contain as much PUFA as a tablespoon of canola oil. So removing them from feed will definitely help! Unfortunately, many “corn and soy-free” feeds simply swap in other high-PUFA ingredients, defeating the purpose. That's why we made our own!
Due to our truly low-PUFA, corn- and soy-free feed sourced from regenerative farms, our eggs contain 74% less linoleic acid and 70% less total PUFA relative to Organic Vital Farms eggs.
When chickens eat better, you eat better, and your body feels the difference.
lower oxidation levels
PUFAs are chemically unstable due to their multiple double bonds. When exposed to heat, light, or oxygen (like during cooking), they oxidize and break down into harmful compounds like MDA and lipid peroxides, increasing inflammation, oxidative stress, and cellular damage. Eggs from hens fed flax and soy-rich diets show higher levels of pre-cooking lipid oxidation, meaning damage starts even before the egg hits your pan.
It doesn’t stop there. PUFA oxidation also triggers cholesterol oxidation in the yolk, producing harmful cholesterol oxidation products linked to metabolic and cardiovascular issues. One study (r) found that consuming high-PUFA eggs accelerated LDL cholesterol oxidation by 28%: a clear sign of increased oxidative stress. Eggs higher in PUFAs also spoil faster, taste worse, and lose nutrients more quickly.

What if your egg allergy isn’t from the egg… but from how the chicken is raised and what the chicken eats? Many of our customers couldn’t tolerate conventional eggs due to bloating, skin flare-ups, or digestive issues. That changed with Angel Acres eggs.
Why?
It’s all about the feed. Soy proteins and corn residues can pass into eggs, both common allergens. PUFAs and phytoestrogens can irritate the gut lining and disrupt hormones. Our feed eliminates these allergy triggers and potential gut disruptors completely.
We were not happy with 'Business as usual'...
We are first-generation female farmers who came into farming with a focus on human health.
Our mission was simple: produce the healthiest eggs we could find. But none of the available feed options met our standards - even the so-called “corn and soy free” feeds were often loaded with other high-PUFA ingredients like sunflower, safflower, canola, flax, or vegetable oils, which just increase PUFAs in the final egg and defeat the purpose.
So instead of settling for typical chicken feed, we decided to make our own. After years of research, testing, and refining, we created a custom feed that truly improves the fatty acid profile of our eggs!
