The modern food system prioritizes quantity over quality, fueled by a “go big or go home” mindset. This approach relies on confinement operations, pharmaceuticals, and fighting Mother Nature with chemicals. The result? A dramatic decline in the number of farms (a 64% reduction since 1950!) alongside the rise of industrial operations that cut corners with cheap inputs and chemicals. This has increased toxins in our food and environment while reducing the nutrient density of what we eat.

Our mission is different: to produce the healthiest food possible while regenerating soil, avoiding toxic chemicals, and improving the environment. But achieving this requires doing things differently.

Instead of pushing farms beyond their limits like industrial operations, we grow supply by expanding our network of small, regenerative farms: making nutrient-rich, sustainably produced food accessible to more families.

Our farm partners produce fresh, nutrient-dense food while restoring soil health, improving the environment, and supporting ethical, skilled farming. How? By reviving traditional farming practices that predate industrial agriculture. Methods rooted in ancestral wisdom and regenerative management: careful observation, strategic grazing, and thoughtful livestock-land interactions.

Working with nature, not against it, we create a resilient, sustainable food system that nourishes both people and the planet, without toxic chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or confinement animal feeding operations (CAFOs).

Each farm partner undergoes a rigorous vetting process to meet Nourish standards. They receive our Nourish Farming Practices SOP booklet and hands-on training to implement regenerative methods. We conduct regular on-site visits and maintain active, ongoing support to ensure the highest quality food at every step.
