Since “you are what your food eats,” hogs are raised on diets that are low in polyunsaturated fats (PUFAs), phytoestrogens, and pesticides. This ensures meat with a natural fatty acid balance higher in saturated fats, free from endocrine-disrupting compounds, and produced with regenerative, chemical-free practices.
Hogs are fed a custom-made, low-PUFA diet free from corn, soy, and other high-PUFA ingredients. The result is pork with more health-supporting stearic acid and significantly less PUFA, just like how pork used to be!
