Lamb kidneys are a nutrient powerhouse, offering a delicate, creamy, and mild flavor that’s cherished in many cultures around the world. Packed with essential B vitamins, zinc, copper, and selenium, lamb kidneys support metabolism, skin, immune health, and vision. Rich in retinol, they provide a natural boost for overall well-being and are a great bioavailable, complete protein source.

This versatile organ meat shines when slow-cooked in broth or water with aromatic herbs and spices. The collagen-rich tissue breaks down during the cooking process, transforming from tough and chewy to tender and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Braising or simmering lamb kidneys softens their flavor, making them incredibly enjoyable and satisfying.

By choosing our 100% grass-fed, needle-free (no vaccines, antibiotics, hormones, or dewormers) lamb kidneys, you’re ensuring your meals are not only packed with flavor and nutrients but also support an ethical and sustainable food system. Our lamb is raised on rotationally grazed pastures, free from unnecessary chemicals or medications (no vaccines, antibiotics, hormones, or dewormers), ensuring the highest quality organ meat for you and your family.
  • LowPs™ 100% Grass-Fed Lamb Kidneys
Lamb kidneys are at their best when slow-cooked to allow the collagen to break down, transforming their texture into a tender, delicate treat. Braising or simmering them in flavorful broth or water with herbs and aromatics is a great way to enjoy this nutrient-dense organ meat.

Here are some ideas for incorporating lamb kidneys into your meals:
- Braising: Slow-braise lamb kidneys with garlic, onions, rosemary, and thyme for a rich, savory dish. Pair them with root vegetables like carrots and parsnips to enhance the flavor profile.
- Lamb Kidney Hash: Braise lamb kidney chunks with potatoes or sweet potatoes, apples, and squash. Top with shredded cheese and your favorite herbs for a hearty and nutrient-packed breakfast or dinner.
- Lamb Kidney Stew: Add lamb kidneys to a warming stew with other tender cuts of lamb, along with vegetables like carrots, celery, and onions. Serve it with crusty bread or over rice for a complete meal.
- Lamb Kidney Tacos: Sauté lamb kidneys with onions, garlic, and spices such as cumin and chili powder. Serve in soft tortillas with fresh toppings like cilantro, lime, and salsa for a delicious twist on taco night.

Farming Practices

Nourish Food Club
100% Grass-Fed

Our lamb graze freely on nutrient-rich pastures, eating the diet nature intended, which supports their metabolic health and aligns with their natural physiology. In contrast, grain-fed lamb are confined to feedlots with limited movement, rapidly fattened on high-energy grain diets that produce excessively fatty meat, far removed from the cuts of meat historically consumed from wild ruminants.

Research shows that grain-fed livestock develop elevated glucose metabolites, triglycerides, and oxidative stress markers, while pasture-finished animals maintain superior metabolic function. 100% grass-fed practices support healthier animals, and that quality is reflected in the meat you eat.

By choosing our 100% grass-fed lamb, you’re enjoying a cleaner, more nutrient-dense product that mirrors the meat our ancestors thrived on, free from the endocrine-disrupting pesticides and phytoestrogens often found in conventional grain-fed lamb.

Nourish Food Club
Regeneratively Raised

Not all grass-fed lamb is the same, how it’s raised matters. There’s a meaningful difference between animals grazing continuously on a single pasture and those raised using rotational grazing. Rotational grazing involves moving lamb daily (1-3 times) across fresh pasture, mimicking the natural movement of wild herbivores. This allows the land to recover, improves soil health, increases biodiversity, and ultimately enhances the quality of the meat.

Rotationally grazed lamb that are moved to fresh pasture daily consume a wider variety of nutrient-rich grasses, which can lead to higher levels of vitamins, minerals, and beneficial phytochemicals. These bioactive compounds are associated with anti-inflammatory and overall health-supporting properties, and their presence is directly influenced by the diversity of the animal’s diet. (Research shows none are detected in grain-fed feedlot meat).

This highlights an important point: it’s not just about grass-feeding, but how the animals are managed. While rotational grazing requires more effort, it produces healthier animals, more nutrient-dense meat, and supports a more resilient, regenerative ecosystem.

Free of Pharmaceuticals and Toxic Agrochemicals

Healthy animals don’t need pharmaceutical interventions like vaccines, antibiotics and hormones.

Our lamb are raised in optimal conditions: grazing on fresh pasture, breathing clean air, and regularly moved to new grass, ensuring they aren’t living in their own waste or exposed to toxins. This natural lifestyle eliminates the need for routine antibiotics, vaccines (including mRNA vaccines), hormones, and dewormers. In contrast, conventional feedlot lamb are confined to crowded, unsanitary conditions, requiring constant pharmaceutical support to stay healthy.

By prioritizing regenerative farming practices and animal management, our farmers raise resilient cattle that rarely get sick. Our animals experience minimal parasite exposure, no stress from confinement, and receive optimal nutrition from diverse pastures that supports their immune function and metabolic health. Our needle-free lamb offers pure, wholesome meat (just as nature intended) without the pharmaceutical crutches required by industrial agriculture.
