Healthy Vanilla Ninja Creami Recipe (No Gums or Pudding Mix)
A healthy Ninja Creami base recipe made with real food ingredients instead of gums, pudding mix, emulsifiers and artificial stabilizers.
This Vanilla Ninja Creami Recipe has become my go-to dessert. I’ve eaten some version of it almost every day for the last year, including during my fat loss phase. It creates a creamy, scoopable ice cream using simple ingredients like milk, egg yolks, applesauce, maple syrup, and gelatin.
One of the reasons I love this recipe is that it’s macro-friendly. The entire pint contains just 330-400 calories. For comparison, a similar volume of standard vanilla ice cream contains roughly 1,000 calories.
Traditional ice cream is fantastic, and in my opinion is a delicious, micronutrient-rich super food! (That I still eat!) However, many store bought ice creams can contain weird ingredients, and traditional full-fat ice cream can also be calorie-dense which means portion control is important. This Ninja Creami vanilla ice cream recipe allows you to enjoy the whole thing while still keeping calories and macros aligned with your body composition goals!
This simple vanilla base can be transformed into virtually any flavor you want. Add cookies, brownies, fruit, chocolate chips, granola, date caramel sauce, or other mix-ins to create endless Ninja Creami variations from a single recipe.
Below you’ll find the full recipe, macros, step-by-step instructions, ingredient breakdowns, my favorite mix-in ideas, and some recipe notes!
