Let’s make McDonald’s-style fries using healthy, stable tallow instead of the highly unstable vegetable oils rich in PUFAs. While McDonalds used to use the good stuff that our ancestors have used for generations (tallow), n the 1990s, McDonald’s switched to vegetable oils after a lawsuit falsely blamed beef tallow for heart attacks, but that decision may have hurt human health in the long run. Tallow, a stable fat, stays safe at high heat, making it the better choice for fries—and your health!
